Description

Kindersley Transport Ltd., a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., requires a Logistics Planner at their Saskatoon, SK location. The successful applicant will join our Central Dispatch team.

The schedule for this position is 6:00am  6:00pm (4 days on, 5 off, 5 days on, 4 off, 5 days on, 5 off)

Responsibilities
- Plan highway tractors for truckload and linehaul operations
- Coordinate and monitor city deliveries with dispatcher
- Monitor and position equipment
- Communicate with drivers and branches on a regular basis
- Review dispatch, loads and shipments to ensure information is accurate and shipments in transit are on schedule
- Assign and dispatch loads

Qualifications
- 3-5 years relative experience in the transportation industry
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in Central Dispatch environment is an asset
- Strong computer skills
- Experience in dispatch programs such as TMW AS400, Centerline or Maddocks is considered an asset
