GRADER OPERATOR/MAINTENANCE WORKER
The Rural Municipality of Maple Bush No. 224 is now accepting applications for a seasonal with possibility of full time grader operator/maintenance employee. Duties include but are not limited to: blading, snow removal, mowing, road maintenance, installing culverts and signs, equipment maintenance and repairs. Road building experience would be an asset. Successful applicants will be required to: clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks, conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, operate computer controlled equipment, operate heavy equipment, operate two-way radios and other communication equipment, perform minor repairs to equipment, secure special attachments to equipment and must have a valid drivers license.
Our municipality is beside one of the largest and most attractive fresh water lakes in Saskatchewan, Lake Diefenbaker. The area is perfect for boating, camping, fishing, hunting, birding and many other types of recreation. The Village of Riverhurst, Palliser Regional Park, Sage View Golf Course, the Resort Village of Mistusinne and Douglas Provincial Park are within our municipal boundaries.
A competitive salary will be paid in accordance with qualifications and experience in addition to a standard SARM benefit plan. Applications marked Grader Operator will be received, in confidence, until 3:00 pm, on Monday, March 4th, 2019. Please list experience and salary expectations.
