Lake Country Co-op is currently accepting applications for a Part-time Clerk/Cashier at our Home Center in Prince Albert.
Primary Job Functions:
Provide prompt, personalized, legendary customer service to all of our members and guests. Operation of cash register and other electronic equipment. Provide information and assist on all inquiries. Ensure safety is held to the highest priority. Receiving, pricing and merchandising required. Maintain a clean and well merchandised department. Some bagging and car service required. Other duties as assigned. Thank all guests for visiting the store and ensure that they are completely satisfied with their in-store experience.
Required Skills:
-Must have a positive, professional attitude.
-Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-Show ambition and willingness to learn.
-Ability to merchandise all related products in a designated area.
-Self-motivated, dependable and punctual.
-Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
-Ability to sort, lift, load and carry; physical labour is required.
-Bondable
Desired Skills/Experience:
Retail experience would be an asset but training is provided to all new employees.
Reporting:
Reports to the Home Center Team Leader.
