Northlands College is looking for a highly motivated individual to manage our Adult Basic Education programs. Reporting to the Vice President, Academic, the Manager participates directly in the decision making process that establishes overall college operation and performance levels. This is an out-of-scope position.
As a member of the management team, the Adult Basic Education Manager is responsible for program management; overseeing the administration and curriculum development; facilitating and coordinating needs assessments for northern Saskatchewan; and managing the program budget process including contract administration, record keeping and reporting procedures. The minimal qualifications for this position is a Masters Degree in Education or relevant field however a Bachelors Degree in Education or related field will be considered. Also required is a knowledge of educational methodology and administration, five years of experience related to training, knowledge of the principles and techniques of human resource management, a practical knowledge of program funding, and budget development and administration. A thorough understanding of northern Saskatchewan Indigenous culture is a definite asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Salary Range: $84,131-$97,482 per year depending on education and experience.
