Job Purpose
Expands and retains mutual funds as well as assists in deposit growth by providing financial service solutions to members and potential members, through a contact centre environment. Supports, through a team-based, collaborative approach, a portfolio of members, conducts regular reviews of member portfolios and provides advice to members in order to increase wallet share and market share. Drives referrals to other Specialists and service providers in alignment with internal guidelines to Spectra Financial, Credential Financial Strategies, or Credential Securities Inc.
Working Conditions
Because Affinity serves members in communities across Saskatchewan, this position may require the successful candidate to travel between locations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Completion of a mutual funds course (CSC, IFIC, or equivalent) and maintenance of registration eligibility
- Industry leading sales ability in growing a book, achieving targets and building a pipeline using a member centric approach
- Experience in making expert investment product and service recommendations, as well as providing quality member centric referrals to other financial solutions experts
- Experience with using a broad range of digital channels and devices (i.e. online services, mobile applications, smartphones, tablets, etc.) including on-line investment solutions
