West Central Crisis & Family Support Centre Inc. is needing to add to our team of professionals and accepting applications for a position of INDIVIDUAL & FAMILY COUNSELLOR- Trauma Focus
Responsibilities the provision of counselling and intervention to individuals and families as part of the organization's counselling services and mandate, the development, delivery and
continuity of tailored prevention programming to the community and surrounding area, crisis
intervention as required.
Requirements:
-B.A., BSW or related degree in the Human Service and/or combination experience
Field
-preference is desired for Trauma Focused therapeutic skills
-Demonstrated ethical, best practices, professional work experience that
includes counselling and intervention.
-Healthy teamwork capacity, highly organized and capable of managing a fluctuating caseload
-Efficient administration, time management and communication skills
-Computer and case mgmt softwear competencies
-Understands, recognizes and self care/stress management techniques
