Description

Working out of the Facilities Management Department in Humboldt, SK, the Lead Hand will coordinate projects in OlySky Facilities.

General Responsibilities
Responsible to coordinate all aspects of projects
Coordinate and schedule project crew
Order and organize supplies and parts
Troubleshoot problems, provide support to the team and maintain deadlines
Operate tools and carryout maintenance duties required
Work closely with Unit Managers and contractors
Maintain a safe work environment.
Leave all work sites clean and tidy.
Attend centrally organized training programs.
Maintenance duties inside and outside of the facilities required
Complete work orders
Other duties as required

Education/Experience Required
Mechanical ability required including welding, plumbing, carpentry and mechanical skills are an asset
Good interpersonal skills for working with others
Good organizational skills and computer skills (Microsoft Office)
To be safety conscious, and self-starter
Effective time management skills and a good attitude
2-3 years experience in a similar role is an asset
Hold a valid drivers license
