We are seeking a team member to fill a Seasonal Manager role within our Thompsons Camp Lodge. This role will run from approximately April 1 to November 1 in a calendar year with some travel required during the off-season. The person selected for this exciting role will have a passion for and thrive in an outdoors environment. The Camp Manager role is not just a job, it is a lifestyle!

Responsibilities:
Develop, nurture and maintain long-lasting, effective and positive relationships with guests
Represent the reputation of Thompsons Camps through active participation and engagement within the community
Provide ongoing leadership and support to the Camp including overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the area
Support the team to achieve and exceed objectives related to guest service, motivation and financial results
Provide leadership and direction to staff and coordinate training and development
Identify and resolve guest concerns/complaints to their satisfaction
Follow and proactively promote all health and safety policies and initiatives
Oversee administrative duties including bookings, staff scheduling, client relations, answering phone calls, billing, inventory control and ordering. Manage supply costs, contractors and operating budget
Assist with sales & marketing, promotions and advertising

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess previous management experience, preferably in a hospitality environment. They will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional customer service skills, strong business acumen, and have a passion for the fishing and the outdoors lifestyle. Experience in tourism, hospitality, or adventure sports would be an asset.
