Sunrise Foods International Inc. (Sunrise) is part of an international conglomerate of organic food companies and is a leading global supply chain manager in the high-growth organic grain and oilseeds market. We have locations in Canada, US, Turkey and UAE, with headquarters in Saskatoon, SK.
At Sunrise you will work among a dynamic group of young professionals that are customer centric, driven and innovative. We currently have an opportunity for a full-time Financial Reporting Analyst in our Saskatoon office.  
Primary focus: Work closely with senior management to support and implement high-quality data-driven decisions.
Duties
-    Preparation and review of monthly working papers and consolidated financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
-    Internal reporting requirements, including monthly reporting package to send to the parent company and bi-monthly board reporting
-    External reporting requirements, including half-year review and annual audit
-    IT implementation of ERP software in a post go-live environment as it relates to the financial reporting process
-    Data analytics to analyze and interpret large volumes of data
-    Identify areas for improvement in current processes and automation opportunities
-    Design and implement internal control processes
-    Other areas as deemed necessary
Qualifications and Skills
-    Accounting designation with 3 years of experience post-qualification
-    Strong problem solving and organization skills with high attention to detail
-    International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) experience
-    Experience with large ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics would be considered an asset
-    Effective verbal and written communication skills
-    Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines under minimal supervision
