Big Rock Trucking Ltd is currently seeking an Office Administrator for an approximate 18 month term with benefits.
This position is responsible for:
General office duties, including accurate and timely record-keeping and data entry, filing, photocopying, printing, mail, answering phones, emailing, etc.
General accounting duties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, journal entries, account reconciliations and preparing third party remittances such as GST, PST, WCB, etc.
Processing payroll, including, maintaining employee data, processing third remittances, preparing records of employment (ROEs), preparing and filing T4s.
Assisting employees with questions related to payroll and other office record-keeping procedures.
Desired traits/skills:
Strong communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience with SAGE 50 (Simply Accounting)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong time management skills
Ability to work independently
Accounting & Payroll background would be an asset but is not recommended
