The Yorkton Tribal Council Child and Family Services Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Officer.  This position reports to the Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Officer will assist in the preparation, coordination and facilitation of training, meetings and workshops, assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence. Maintain and update manuals and computerized filing and registration systems, and compile and prepare reports and documents relating to personnel activities. Respond to telephone and written enquiries from staff and the general public. Research and recommend employee development, training and health and safety programs. Post notices and advertisements and collect applicants. Advise job applicants on employment requirements. Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews. Assist in recruiting graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions. Notify applicants of results of competitions. Coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs. Maintain an effective and efficient Employee Data Base and HR systems tool, Adhere to all YTCCFS Inc. policies and manuals. Submit a monthly report to the Human Resources Manager in accordance to the YTCCFS Inc. Personnel and Procedures Manual. Attend meetings as directed. Attend all staff meetings. Other duties pertaining to position function as directed by the Human Resources Manager. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism and consideration to clients, colleagues and First Nation communities by his/her punctuality and dependability to fulfilling their duties on a daily basis.
