Description

At Catholic Family Services of the Battlefords Inc., we offer a wide range of counselling and support services to individuals, couples, families and groups. It is our privilege to share in the lives of the individuals and families we serve.

We are seeking skilled, committed and compassionate people. We support our employees with competitive wages, a strong benefits package, shared RRSP contributions and additional vacation days. We promote a positive and supportive working environment in which every employee can build a rewarding career.

With the supervision and support of the Family Support Services Program Manager, and in partnership with the Ministry of Social Services, this position plays a key role in supporting the integrity of the family unit and the rights of children to live in a safe home. The goal is to maintain the family unit or support the reunification of children with their families, when and if, it is safe to do so.

Support Services concentrate on parenting, daily living skills, personal wellness, and accessing community resources. Tasks may include transporting clients to in-town and out-of-town appointments, working on specific skills, personal wellness, home management goals, assisting children to access enriching activities, and helping them maintain family and cultural connections.

The detailed job posting is available on our website under the Careers tab: https//battlefordscfs.ca/

We thank all applicants for their interest. Please note that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.

Competition will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
