RECREATION CASHIER
Job #J0119-0825

The City of Prince Albert is currently accepting applications for up to three (3) non-permanent positions of Recreation Cashier in the Community Services Department. These part-time positions will be located at the Alfred Jenkins Field House with hours available on a year-round basis.

Applicants must be available to work on weekends and evenings.  

General Duties:
- Handle cash including but not limited to receipting, depositing, balancing, counting and miscellaneous sales.
- Attend to all inquiries through personal and telephone communication as well as use of the public address system.
- Ensure that admission policies related to recreation facilities are adhered to.
- Register the public for instructional programs.
- Responsible for recording and checking specific articles as requested by the patron for safekeeping.
- Maintain ticket window and office area in a neat and tidy manner.

Desired Qualifications:
- Completion of Grade 12 or Grade 10 if a continuing full-time student.
- Certified in First Aid and CPR C.
- Must be willing to work shifts including evenings and weekends as required.
- Ability to handle cash and balance funds received.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and co-workers.
- Ability to complete required cashier reports.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good organizational skills.
