A position is available for an Estimator.  As a primary contact for customers of our Construction operation, this position also provides support to the President and will assist in the efficient operation of our building and construction processes.  The objective of this position is to procure projects through estimating and tender activities, as well as developing client relationships with new customers.

Responsibilities include:
- respond to customer inquiries
- follow up with past customers
- calculate estimates for new construction, renovation and repair projects
- be adept at quantity survey and blueprint reading
- assist the Project Manager in coordinating and expediting materials needed for the project in the volumes and margins required
- maintain a positive relationship with customers
- actively pursue new customers and opportunities
- communicate with suppliers and subcontractors

Our successful applicant will:
- complete accurate, consistent estimates for competitive tenders and negotiated work
- assist the project team in delivering building projects on time, under budget and of superior quality
- conduct preliminary pursuit of design build projects with new and existing clients
- find and cultivate contacts among potential and existing customers for the purpose of generating new work for the company
