Description

POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Cameco is looking for an organized, effective communicator to schedule and coordinate all maintenance and reliability activities that assure site production while minimizing disruptions. In this role you will be responsible for developing, tracking and reporting on maintenance schedules in conjunction with all major stakeholders, asset owners and technical support groups at site. In addition, you will be responsible for rapid planning critical activities, act as a central point of contact for work management processes, optimize preventative maintenance plans and improve business practices related to maintenance.
  
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements of the position:
    Applicable trade or technologist diploma
    Journeyperson certificate or applied science technologist
    Five years of relevant work experience with asset management, reliability and maintenance management programs
    Applicable certification such as Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) or Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)
    Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
    Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
    P. Eng or AScT designation
    LEAN greenbelt training

Safety is a top priority at Cameco. Successful candidates for all positions at safety-sensitive sites or in safety-sensitive positions must take and pass a substance test (which includes marijuana testing) as a condition of employment. Marijuana remains in a users system for about 30 days, so applicants who recently used marijuana recreationally should not expect to pass a substance test.
