Position Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Lab Technician, the positions key function is to ensure that the department of Quality Control achieves its goals of daily performance of no errors with inbound materials and no errors with processing outbound products. For all internal testing requirements, the position will ensure accurate and timely analysis is available and recorded to the departments established log books..
Core Responsibilities:
-Maintains the audit system as established by Regulatory for 3rd party labs
-Maintains personal interaction with Customer Service and assists in completion of customer requests
-Prepares samples as required for the daily testing requirements or other needs
-Working with the departments senior staff, assists in 3rd party and internal audits
-Prepares inventory status and usage reports of all lab consumable stock
-Maintains a complete lab equipment inventory log
-Authorizes all required testing for samples sent to 3rd party labs
-Investigates and reports on selected OOS and NCRs investigations for Root Cause analysis
Monitoring and disposal of waste chemicals through approved and qualified 3rd party agencies
-Ensures all daily testing activities are completed as planned (i.e. established wet and dry chemistry tests)
Qualifications:
-University or technical degree in Chemistry or Science
-3+ years of related experience is preferred
-Computer skills (Word, Excel)
