Description

The Finance & Human Resources Manager is responsible for the overall administration of the White Buffalo Youth Treatment Centre located Muskoday First Nation.  The incumbent is responsible for implementing, evaluating and maintaining systems and processes of financial management, human resources and day-to-day operations. This includes the production and the administration of budgets, conducting financial analysis and preparing financial reports, developing and implementing an effective system of accounting and managing the payroll system. The manager directs and leads the human resources activities including job requirements and job descriptions, performance evaluations, compensation and benefit plan administration, recruitment and selection of employees, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling.

Qualifications:
Undergraduate university degree preferably in Business Management AND five (5) years work as a manager or supervisory experience OR Bachelor of Business Administration, Management or Commerce AND accounting designation AND two (2) years work as a manager or supervisory experience.

Other Requirements:
Professional Designation:  CHRP, CA, CGA, or Certified Management Accountant designation is an asset
Proficiency in the use of computer skills and programs including accounting, word processing, databases, spreadsheets, e-mail and internet
Knowledge of federal and provincial legislation affecting non-profit organizations
Knowledge of federal and provincial legislation on Employment Standards, Occupational Health & Safety, and Human Rights
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in report & proposal writing
Demonstrated ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
Time Management and ability to meet deadlines an asset
Valid drivers license
Must be flexible to travel
Submit to a security and criminal check and compliance
