Reporting directly to the General Sales Manager, the Sales Manager will have a thorough and complete understanding of variable operations, reconditioning of vehicles and will help provide direction to the sales department, specifically internet leads and pre-owned vehicles. This is a demanding hands-on position that requires direct involvement in all aspects of the sales department. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding and natural leader, trainer and coach and will have a proven track record in the automotive industry.
In addition to a strong vehicle sales background and management experience, the ideal candidate must:
Maintain a superior customer satisfaction rating
Have an enthusiastic and motivated attitude
Have the capacity to develop, manage, inspire and lead a strong multi-cultural sales team
Create and implement new marketing strategies for continued growth
Well versed in CRM tools
Forecasting goals and objectives for sales gross on a monthly and annual basis.
Assisting individual salespeople in setting aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives and provides them with the support to meet these goals.
Ensuring proper follow-up of all potential buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a prospecting and sales control systems.
Assist in Inventory Management
Conducting daily and weekly sales and sales training meetings.
Overseeing the efforts of pre-owned-vehicle sales personnel to enhance the image and customer satisfaction ratings of the dealership.
Helping Sales Consultants close deals.
5 years experience in the automotive industry
2-3 years experience in automotive management
