Description

South East Cornerstone Public School Division is welcoming applications for a Technical Analyst(Summer Student) position.  This position is primarily responsible for assisting our area and Division Office Technical Analysts, either remotely or in person, with re-naming and re-imaging Division hardware.

Complete Helpdesk requests as prioritized by the Information Systems Supervisor.
Identify and resolve routine hardware, software and network issues.
Provide ongoing routine installation, maintenance and support of division systems.
Re-naming and re-imaging of all computer workstations.
Ensure that equipment adds, moves, replacements and changes are authorized and completed according to specification.
Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of the Division's IT related equipment.
Conduct oneself in a manner appropriate to an educational institution that provides services to all clients in an educational environment.
Be knowledgeable about and supportive of Administrative Procedures and directives.
Perform other duties as may be required or assigned by the Manager of Information Systems.

Required Education, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of Grade 12 diploma from a recognized institution as approved by the Board of Education or a General Educational Development (GED) is required.
Registered or enrolled in a diploma program in Computer or Network Technologies or high level vendor certification )MCSE, CNE, CCNP) would be considered an asset.
Knowledge of computer programming principals.
Valid Class 5 Driver's License
