ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Collaborate closely with product owner and CPO to define creative and user-centric experience.
    Translate interaction, visual, and animation design into implementation-ready assets and detailed specifications/documents.
    Serve as a brand steward, ensuring a consistency of product appearance via the use of style guides, style sheets, and enforcement of established standards and best practices.
    Able to confidently articulate how the design solves user needs, business goals, technical constraints, and other project facets, and through the use of detailed and pleasing visual aid.
    Partner with the product and the marketing team to oversee the user experience from conception to launch.
    Review product milestones and give feedback on the technical similarity to the design.
    Cycle the testing of the product with designing it to improve user experience.
    Other duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
    Degree / Diploma in Design, Graphic Design, User Experience Design, related field, or equivalent work experience.
    2+ years experience in UI and UX design.
    Experience with standard design processes, and design tools.
    Possess confidence with typography, color theory, iconography, and aesthetics.
    Sketching, visualizing, and prototyping skills.
    Willingness to whiteboard, document and lead design interactions with the Product and the Development teams to derive innovative solutions.
    Staying up to date with the current upcoming UI and UX trends.

PREFERRED SKILLS
    Experience in Mac OS/IOS platforms.
    Deep understanding and passion of the text editing products on the market.
    Proficiency in Sketch or Photoshop or similar prototyping software.
