Description

The Breakfast Attendant / Evening Cook is responsible for coordinating and directing all aspects of the breakfast bar and kitchen operations, while maintaining high quality products and service levels.
This is a Part Time Position weekends are required as well as during the week.

 

Skills and Abilities

Dishwashing Skills
 - Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware
 - Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units
 - Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
 - Scour pots and pans
Essential Skills
 - Job task planning and organizing

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
 - Food Safe Certificate
Counter Attendant and Food Preparer Skills
 - Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
 - Keep records of the quantities of food used
 - Package take-out food
 - Portion and wrap foods
 - Stock refrigerators and salad bars
 - Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs
Work Setting
 - Hotel
Kitchen Helping Skills
 - Sweep and mop floors
 - Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
 - Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
 - Remove kitchen garbage and trash
Bussing Skills
 - Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
 - Load buspans and trays
 - Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
 - Set tables
Weight Handling
 - Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
