ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Interact with the board to understand and keep up with the vision of the products and marketing strategies.
Develop software release plans/schedules/project charters working closely with the development team to ensure that the product quality standards and delivery deadlines are met.
Host bi-weekly sprint meetings/daily stand-ups for the project.
Collaborate closely with product UX/UI design team and product owner to create high level and/or detailed user experience.
Layout the product feature enhancement roadmap.
Explore product concepts to find promising directions that addresses the users and businesss needs.
Be responsible for the product launch and marketing strategies.
Participate in prospect and user meetings to gather feedbacks/requirements and resolve issues.
Manage employee recruitment, training, performance assessments, and salary recommendation.
Other duties as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
At least BS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or other related fields.
Minimum of 5 years, but preferably 10 years, of Software Development experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Manager (or equivalent) in a software or information services companies.
Proven experience in leading and managing a team through successful software projects.
Proven experience in product marketing.
Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
A quick learner with good technical and business acumen.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills to interact with a variety of stakeholders.
Be able to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
Flexibility to travel frequently.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience or knowledge in business management.
Deep understanding and passion to the text editing products on the market.
