Minimum of a high school diploma, paralegal or legal assisting education is an asset, but is not required.
Strong computer skills, and the ability to easily adapt to new and changing technologies.
Exceptional typing skills is a must; electronic dictation experience is an asset.
Experience with professional languages, in both written and oral communication.
Stays organized working individually or in a group with multiple priorities
Is efficient and maintains professionalism in a fast paced, multi-facetted office that deals with a full range of personalities
Is able to maintain a Lawyers calendar, schedule meetings, and aid them in managing their workload. This requires them to be extremely reliable, analytical, organized, and pay attention to detail.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality is critical.
Must be bondable, and must submit a criminal records check.
