Description

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity with a local Technology and Security Integration company to perform a variety of administrative duties. The ideal candidate would be adaptable, detail oriented with a friendly, positive attitude. Experience or training in bookkeeping processes and computer software would be an asset.

Type: Part Time (0.8 FTE)

Start Date: ASAP            

Duration: Permanent

General office duties include but are not limited to professional communication and email correspondence, answering phones and taking messages, ordering office supplies, assist with scheduling service technicians, opening and distributing mail, standard bookkeeping and accounting tasks, proofreading/editing, maintaining filing system, updating, archiving and proficient with Microsoft Office, light cleaning and other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: 20-30hrs
Monday to Friday, 9 AM  3 PM,

Physical Requirements: must be able to sit for long periods of time and lift up to 20 lbs

Skills And Abilities:
- Business Administration Certificate or equivalent experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent organizational and proofreading skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
- Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information
- Ability to prioritize time sensitive responsibilities
- Knowledge of basic office equipment (copier/printer/scanner)
- Must be able to multi-task
