The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency is seeking a Project Manager to provide leadership to project teams working with clinicians and administrative staff to create new or enhance existing systems, reduce paper reliance, improve the integrity of patient information systems, improve communication of patient information amongst clinicians internally and externally and improve clinician productivity, patient safety and patient care as part of our Patient First philosophy.
Project Manager will consult with business units and stakeholders to prioritize and plan new IT systems of a significant nature in accordance with established project management methodologies and best practice-planning the scope of work, identifying benefits, costs, risks, resource requirements, change management and training requirements, RFP preparation, tendering and evaluation, and managing the overall system development, implementation and transition.
The Project Manager will have a Bachelors degree in computer science, business administration, or engineering and 2 years experience managing integrated IT projects and teams or a Diploma in computer science, administration, or engineering and five years experience managing integrated IT projects and teams. Certification as a Project Management Professional or ability to obtain within 2 year from date of hire.
