Description

Facility: University Heights
Job Description: Reporting to the Director of Medical Affairs, this position is responsible for the day-to-day management of all physician recruitment and retention
activities of the organization. The position also researches, supports and advises the Director of Medical Affairs, Medical Department Heads and
Vice President of Medical Services on strategies to improve recruitment and retention and assists in the development and deployment of programs,
policies and processes to improve physician recruitment, retention and medical administration.

" A bachelors degree in administration (health administration preferred) or human resource management plus a minimum of 3 years experience in
human resource management or physician administration. A combination of education, training and experience may also be considered.
" Broad understanding of the Saskatchewan healthcare system and oncology care in Saskatchewan and elsewhere.
" Broad understanding of physician administrative matters including physician education, licensure, immigration and settlement, compensation
models, discipline processes and organizational structures.
" Familiarity with human resource best practice, human resource forecasting and modeling methodologies and recruitment and retention best
practice, particularly as it relates to physicians.
" Knowledge of administrative principles and processes including data collection and analysis, modeling and business case development, policy and
program development and evaluation.
Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days
37.50 hours per 1 week rotation
