Description
WPD Ambulance and Rosthern & District Ambulance is currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our expanding organization. WPD Ambulance serves the communities of Lloydminster, North Battleford, and Rosthern as well as numerous surrounding communities. As a progressive ALS service, WPD Ambulance responds to a large variety of calls.

Location: North Battleford, SK (primary), Rosthern and Lloydminster (secondary)
Salary: $33.17/hour
Work hours: 40 to 42 hours / week
Term of Employment: Permanent, Full time
Employment conditions: On call, Overtime, Day, Night, Weekend, Shifts

Specific Credentials: Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), International Trauma Life Support (ITLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Education for Prehospital Providers (PEPP),
Valid Saskatchewan or Alberta Class 4 drivers license, must have Alberta and Saskatchewan College of Paramedics license.

- Administer medications and provide advanced emergency treatments to patients

- Document and record nature of injuries and treatment provided
- Assist hospital personnel with provision of medical treatment, if necessary
- Assess extent of injuries or illness of trauma victims to determine emergency medical treatment
