Description

Riverside Country Club is Saskatchewan's only member exclusive golf club, originally established in 1912. The club is currently seeking full time Halfway Hut and Golf Cart attendants for the 2019 season (April-October).

Key Responsibilities
Your role will be to provide professional, responsive and friendly food & beverage service to our members and their guests, preparing, cooking and serving food, beverage and alcohol at our Halfway Hut and Beverage cart. Other responsibilities include maintaining a safe and clean environment, stocking and counting inventory, and handling end of shift paperwork.
Qualifications & Skills Required
Experience in a private club food service environment is a definite asset
Serve it Right Certification, Food Safety Certification
Highly organized with a strong focus and commitment to quality
Teamwork and cooperation to assist others to get the job done
Hardworking and reliable
Working knowledge and training on all health & safety standards and sanitation standards ie. Food Safe, WHMIS, Health and Safety Policies, food-handling techniques
Contribute to a positive work environment and demonstrate a positive attitude
Work in an efficient manner while managing multiple tasks and priorities
Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with diverse people, including kitchen and dining staff
Ability to respond quickly to issues and make effective decisions under pressure

Food and Beverage Serving Skills
 - Advise on menu selections
 - Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Essential Skills
 - Oral communication
 - Working with others
Transportation/Travel Information
 - Own transportation
 - Public transportation is not available
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
 - Food Safe Certificate
 - Serving It Right Certificate
Additional Skills
 - Address customers' complaints or concerns
 - Replace linen
 - Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
 - Load buspans and trays
 - Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
 - Customer service oriented
 - Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
