The duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Establishes performance criteria for each of the employees that report to him and provides a method to record, report and evaluate the results of each employees behavior and activities.
Implement the information flow and data publication designed and directed by the Warehouse or General Manager to keep each level of management properly informed of the warehouse Works to control the variances of the standards set by the company.
Ensure the security of all personnel, equipment, materials and facilities.
Ensure all maintenance, housekeeping, and safety practices are implemented throughout the warehouse.
Ensure that safety and safe working practices are exercised in the warehouse. In the case of an accident or incident will implement established procedures to immediately safeguard staff, freight, equipment from further harm.
Ensure all personnel who report to him are properly trained and promote safe working practices at all times.
Oversee the receiving and shipping of freight, accurate inventory counts, loading and unloading of trucks to assure that all freight is handled in an expeditious manner.
Responsible for the operating condition of all equipment. Assures that proper maintenance of equipment has been undertaken and safety standards are met.
Required Skills:
Must have 3-5 years Warehouse Lead Hand Experience
Must have valid Forklift Ticket
Supervisor experience of warehouse staff for all orders
Experience with loading & unloading trailers
Inventory and receiving experiences
Experience utilizing MS Scanners & procedures,
TDG and WHIMIS Certification
Experience with Warehouse Maintenance
Specific Skills
