Canpotex is currently seeking a temporary Financial Analyst (19-03) in the Finance Department in our Saskatoon Office. This temporary position is expected to last approximately 15 to 18 months.
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting & Budgeting, you will perform various accounting functions. You will be responsible for monthly forecasting and analysis, collecting and preparing information for reporting, assisting with the annual budgeting process, and month-end reporting and reconciliations.
Utilizing your strong interpersonal skills, and your ability to work with individuals at all levels within the organization, you will collaborate with others to create, analyze, and report financial data pertaining to budget and forecast plans. You are innovative, and you will evaluate information to improve existing processes and/or develop enhancements regarding Corporate and departmental accounting procedures and policies.
You are encouraged to apply if you hold a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field; a Chartered Professional Accountant designation is considered an asset. You will have two to four years experience in an accounting environment performing financial forecasting and analysis. You have considerable knowledge of the practices of accounting and finance. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
