As an Autobody Technician, you will:

Review damage estimates
Remove, replace and/or repair damaged vehicle panels and parts
Perform collision repair on all makes of vehicles according to manufacturers standards
Straighten out dents, buckles and defects
File, grind and sand body surfaces that are repaired
Weld replacement panels
Inspect repaired vehicles
Maintain a clean and safe work area, and follow safety guidelines

The ideal candidate will have:

Journeyman Certificate or 3 to 5 years of progressive Autobody Technician experience
Experience conducting bodywork on a wide range of vehicles
Proficiency with all tools of the trade. Inhouse training provided as required
Problem solving skills
Basic computers skills and passion for problem solving
Paint experience is an asset but not mandatory
Ability to complete repair orders in a timely manner
Welding skills
