Summary of Duties:
The Parking Attendant is responsible for working designated parking areas or booths at a pay-for-parking entrance/exit. This position will also: direct vehicles to appropriate parking areas; collect parking fees; monitor parking lots to check for required permits; ensure vehicles are parked in designated spaces; provide information to visitors and staff; ensure vehicles are not blocking traffic flow; and act as the first point of contact for customers and guests.
Candidates will be assessed on the following information;
Education and Experience:
*Grade twelve (12) education is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
*Ability to communicate effectively with employees and guests.
*Ability to work conscientiously and with minimal direction.
*Highly motivated, enthusiastic and co-operative.
*Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time in all kinds of weather conditions.
