Our Regina-based client in the service industry has a great opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper.

Specifically, you will:
- Record, update and verify financial records
- Work closely with employees to ensure the proper handling of all the business's financial transactions
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and year-end financial statements and financial reports
- Coordinate and/or prepare budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Calculate and remit PST/GST and all other reporting requirements and related filings
- Administer employee payroll for all staff. Payroll administration includes setting up new employees, monitoring employee contracts, WCB reporting, preparing ROEs, etc.
- Provide support in A/P and A/R functions, including data entry, invoice generation, report generation, credit card reconciliations, collections support, etc.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting, including monitoring and reconciliation of bank accounts and company credit cards
Education & Experience:
- Some post-secondary education in Accounting preferred; CPA designation or equivalent is an asset but not required
- PCP certification in Payroll is considered an asset but not required
- Minimum 5 years related experience in corporate bookkeeping / accounting for a small business
- Proficiency in using accounting software and ability to learn new programs
