The City of Swift Current is inviting applications for a Human Resource Clerk. This is an 8 month out of scope Internship position working in the Corporate Services Division. Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the ideal candidate will act as an office generalist with the capacity to include but not limited to administrative activities, records and file maintenance, hiring activities, and data entry.
Basic Requirements:
Successful completion of Grade 12 with 2 years office experience;
Willingness to become Youth Certified;
Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers License;
Ability to conduct oneself with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality;
Detail oriented;
Strong communication and organizational skills;
Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office and general office practices.
Desirable Requirements:
Preference will be given to candidates with post-secondary education in the areas of Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Municipal Government and or combination of education and experience.
