PBCN Health Services is hiring one (1) CHD TB Worker.   This position will focus on clients with communicable diseases including TB and STIs, as well as community education pertaining to the prevention, screening and treatment of communicable infections.  The CHD is responsible to work with the health team to provide health programming, education and a variety of health services to community members of all ages.  Three aspects addressed within each program are:  administrative duties, client support activities and community awareness.  This position works closely with the CDC Nurse, NITHA TB and Saskatoon TB Control.
Responsibilities
    Administrative Duties
o    Complete and submit month end reports
o    Coordinating and managing client clinics
o    Communication with supporting agencies such as NITHA and TB Control
    Client Support Activities
    Community Awareness
    Essential Job Functions
o    Client appointment notifications
o    DOT for TB clients
o    Specimen collection, labelling and delivery
o    Maintain client follow up and screening lists
o    Ensuring proper packaging and transporting of program items
o    Attend mandatory TB in-servicing
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Experience)
    Grade 12 or equivalent
    Education related to:  Prevention and Control of Infections, Chronic Diseases, Community Engagement, Motivational Interviewing
    Organizing Events
    Fluent in Cree and English
    Must be able to maintain confidential information
    Must have interest and ability to participate in recreational activities
    Excellent communication and public speaking skills
    Computer skills and knowledge
    Must have a valid Class 5 drivers license;
    Current Satisfactory Criminal Record Clearance & Vulnerable Sector Check;
