Duties include:
- Design a wide range of graphic materials, including the Annual Report.
- Edit existing graphic materials.
- Assist with development, maintenance, and changes to SaskAbilities websites.
- Assist with developing presentations for community groups, businesses, the public, and government.
- Assist with the creation, preparation and distribution of marketing materials and information for SaskAbilities programs and initiatives.
- Assist with development and maintenance of social media channels Twitter, Instagram, Facebook
- Assist with Website change requests
- Assist with event planning, organization, and support
- Provide administrative support as required
Qualifications:
Education:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Design certificate/diploma or equivalent portfolio to showcase experience.
- Some post-secondary education in the area of business, voluntary sector management, fund raising, communications, or marketing or equivalent experience.
Skills & Experience:
- Advanced capabilities with Adobe Suite InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; excellent Microsoft Office skills and data base management. Experience with Premiere is an asset.
- Highly-skilled, professional graphic designer
- Exceptional inter-personal skills with good oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Creative and innovative thinking.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Familiarity with Website/HTML an asset
- Two years experience in a similar role working directly with creative software in a design environment with multiple projects and firm deadlines.
- Experience in customer service, marketing or administration.
- High Quality, error-free work. Proofreading and quality control experience is a great asset
