The dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and washing the dining/kitchenware in compliance with applicable food and sanitation codes.They will also be responsible for assisting the cook in food preparation, for taking food orders and some deliveries of food orders.
Must be able to work flexible hours, such as evenings and weekends.
Must be able to stand for multiple hours in duration.
Dishwashing Skills
- Scour pots and pans
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
- Operate pot-washing machines
- Clean and polish silverware
- Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware
Kitchen Helping Skills
- Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
- Sweep and mop floors
Bussing Skills
- Load buspans and trays
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- Assist food and beverage servers in formal service activities
Weight Handling
- Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
