Job Description: Under the direction of the Youth Community Counselling Manager, the senior incumbent will provide specialized psychological services to the individuals and families referred to the Youth Counselling Team. This includes providing psychometric, behavioral and family assessments in regards to youth exhibiting emotional/behavioral difficulties, completing psychological assessment and reports, and providing individual, family and group interventions. As the Senior Psychologist, the incumbent will provide clinical supervision to other Psychologists, provide consultation and clinical direction to the other disciplines on the team and within the community, be responsible for monitoring psychological testing equipment and other resources required to provide psychological services. The incumbent will also be responsible for psychological treatment and services provided by the Youth Counselling Team. The incumbent must be able to work with minimal supervision and must be able to work effectively with the Manager, other team members and the community. The incumbent will provide input into program planning and evaluation.
Required Qualifications
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Current registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
Masters degree in Educational Psychology or Clinical Psychology
Experience
5 years working as a Registered Psychologist with APE with specialization in Children and Youth.
