Facility: LA RONGE SITE
Job Description: This position is responsible for the provision of assessment, screening and brief intervention with individuals and families seeking outpatient mental health and addiction services.  The position is situated in a collaborative, team-based environment that requires strong organizational and time-management skills and the ability to cope effectively with stress, change and diversity.  Duties will include screening, assessment, counseling, consultation and the provision of relevant mental health and addiction education to the public and other service providers.  

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in social work from an accredited university/clinical program.
- Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Work.
- Experience in the assessment and treatment of mental health and substance disorders across the lifespan.
- Experience in screening, assessment, crisis management and brief intervention counseling.
- Current and valid  Saskatchewan driver license

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-    Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
-    Ability to work independently as required.
-    Strong interpersonal skills.
-    Strong case management and organizational skills.
-    Ability to communicate clearly through written, electronic (e.g. Telehealth), and verbal medium.
-    Computer skills
-    Knowledge of community outpatient and inpatient service delivery systems.
-    Knowledge of community resources and the demonstrated ability to refer to, network and work cooperatively with a variety of community partners
-    Knowledge of cross cultural issues and cultural sensitivity
-    Knowledge of the Mental Health Services Act.
-    Knowledge of the Saskatchewan Suicide Protocol for Saskatchewan Healthcare Providers
