Description

Adecco is currently hiring for a Contract Project Planner/Scheduler in Regina, SK. To qualify for this Project Planner/Scheduler role, you must have previous experience with building and managing schedules with using MS Project or Primavera (P6).

Education Requirements:

-  Preference will be given to candidates that have a 3 Year College Diploma in Engineering Technology, Project Administration, Business Administration, Project Management or equivalent.
- Preference will be given to candidates that have a PMI-CAPM or PMI-PMP or working towards a Project Management designation
- Will also consider candidates with a 4 year University Degree in Engineering, Science, Business or equivalent degree

Contract Project Planner/Scheduler Skills and Experience:

-    Must have demonstrated skills and experience with building and managing schedules with MS Project or Primavera (P6)
-    Understand and able to implement PMI project management best practices
-    Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
-    Must have strong collaboration skills, works well as a member of a team
-    A background executing projects in the oil and gas industry is considered an asset
-    Project planning/scheduling experience for physical construction projects is considered an asset
-    Experience with the following software is mandatory
               - (MS Project, MS Office)
-           Must have a valid Canadian class 5 drivers license

Responsibilities:

-    Project planning and schedule for entire construction project lifecycle using MS Project 2013
-    Facilitate, hold risk planning sessions and maintain risk registers
-    Monitor and control scope, and implement project change management processes
-    Coordinate stakeholder approvals and ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables
-    Record and follow-up to ensure timely resolution of project deficiencies
