Description

Our commitment to member-focused service delivery inspires our 350 team members and over 150 volunteers to effectively and efficiently leverage our resources to maximize our community impact.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver group and personal training programs and sessions
* Lead fitness classes, equipment orientations, new members consultations, and facility tours
* Provide CPT-CPATH assessments (if certified CPT-CSEP)
* Develop positive relationships with members
* Assist to provide a clean and convenient facility for all members and guests
* Have flexibility to Work at All YMCA locations
* Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
* Personal Trainer Certification (ie CSEP, NSCA, etc)
* Post secondary degree is an asset; preferably Physical Education, Kinesiology, Recreation or related field
* Group Fitness Certification an asset
* Experience working with children's sport/activity programs an asset
* Good communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
* Flexibility regarding assigned working hours, including evenings and weekends
* Original Criminal record check dated within 3 months of hire
* Current: Standard First Aid, CPR
