THIS JOB IS 15 MINUTES OUTSIDE OF MOOSE JAW
Looking for casual care provider for senior lady to fill in when the care aides need a day off.
About 2 days a month to start. Looking for someone that wants to gradually increase hours over a few months.
An outgoing, friendly, happy attitude is a must. If you can make crafts and enjoy playing easy games that is an asset - but not necessary.
Duties: making light meals, light housecleaning, caring for pets, taking out garbage, assisting with changing clothes.
90% of this position is companionship: talking, visiting, playing games, making crafts, going for walks. Helping care for chickens, dogs, cats. Keeping mom safe by holding her arm when she walks, assisting her with meals and tea/coffee.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH DEMENTIA.
MUST BE RESPECTFUL, CARING AND COMPASSIONATE.
You will need your own vehicle, a cell phone, a clean criminal record. If you have CCA experience or similar that is an asset.
