Facility: MENTAL HEALTH OUTPATIENT
Job Description: Mental Health and Addictions assessment, treatment and case management with children, youth, families and groups.  Participates in multi-disciplinary team working with children and youth presenting with chronic and persistent mental health issues with subject matter expertise in illness and medication education and management.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS) or Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Experience
Requires a minimum of 2 years (post graduate) recent recognized experience in a community mental health setting working with children, youth and families presenting with acute and chronic mental health problems.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of normal child and adolescent development and psychopathology
Ability to implement a variety of evidence based intervention strategies (individual or group) for individuals with mental health and addiction problems in a community based setting
Knowledge of community psychiatric nursing clinical standards of practice and the ability to develop and ensure compliance of those standards related to a community mental heath setting
Knowledge of the diversity of cultures, values and traditions and their impact on accessing mental health services
Leadership abilities and the ability to work within a change management model
Interpersonal competence, including effective problem solving and conflict resolutions skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
