POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Cameco has a terrific opportunity for an enthusiastic, results oriented individual to take the lead on the international IT asset management program. As a key contributor to the business technology services (BTS) department, you will work with various stakeholders to establish and execute the maturity roadmap for IT asset management (ITAM) at Cameco. As you grown in this role you will apply expertise in cost containment and continuous improvement.

In addition you will provide oversight and administration of PC lifecycle management, cost reporting and optimization of hardware and software, and manage ongoing operation of Camecos enterprise print program with our external provider. You will ensure software contract and license compliance, including managing audit requests. As part of the cost administration you will manage and report on cost allocations for shared enterprise applications.
  
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements of the position:
    Degree in business, information technology or a related field
    Three to five years of applicable experience including some asset management
    Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Assets:
    ITIL and/or ITAM certification

Safety is a top priority at Cameco. Successful candidates for all positions at safety-sensitive sites or in safety-sensitive positions must take and pass a substance test (which includes marijuana testing) as a condition of employment. Marijuana remains in a users system for about 30 days, so applicants who recently used marijuana recreationally should not expect to pass a substance test.
