DOT Technology Crop. is focused entirely on designing, manufacturing and distribution of a fully autonomous power unit designed to allow autonomous functionality to a large variety of implements commonly used in agriculture.
DOT is looking for a talented Autonomous Systems Manager with experience developing complex embedded software and hardware solutions to join our DOT Engineering team. Along with the team, the successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, integration, testing, and maintenance of software systems relating to DOT.
DOT Technology Corp. is located in Emerald Park, just minutes east of Regina, Saskatchewan. DOT Technology Corp. is a medium sized, privately owned company, that is developing innovative solutions to increase farm efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Position DOT as a leader in agriculture and autonomous farming
Lead the architecture and development of embedded software systems.
Develop the strategic autonomous systems roadmap with involvement from senior management team.
Act as a manager and mentor to the autonomous systems engineering team and identify areas of new training or skills development.
Assist with hiring and on-boarding of new team members.
Generate and share comprehensive detailed reports about team performance, objectives, and deadlines.
Design and develop autonomous vehicle systems that operate safely and efficiently.
Ensure the development of autonomous vehicle systems meet industry and government standards
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline.
8+ years of engineering experience demonstrating increasing responsibilities.
Experience leading embedded software teams.
Experience with Agile and Scrum.
Experience with computer hardware and electronics.
Experience writing software with Python or C/C++.
Experience designing, developing, and testing safety-critical software and hardware systems
