Description

Purpose of the Position:

The position's primary purpose is to oversee and assess the processes necessary for timely and accurate processing of lease files following origination and pre-funding phases. This position confirms the accurate analysis and preparation of applications in a way that supports the Lease team in exceeding client expectations while ensuring all conditions of credit and funding are met.  The position also contributes to related product and service initiatives and supports the development, enhancement and implementation of lease programs by determining process and compliance enhancements.  The position supports Commercial Leasing services in establishing approaches to complex account arrangements.

Key Outcomes & Responsibilities:

Documentation and procedure compliance (post-origination, pre-funding)
Work with leasing teams to address file issues and deficiencies
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through completion/verification of account documentation.
Verify funding requests and prepare internal funding approvals.
Assess procedures and documentation standards that support the market competitiveness of Corporate Leasing in terms of ease-of-use and consistency.
Recommends revisions to procedures to ensure the business unit is compliant with balance sheet management, operating policies and regulatory and legislative changes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary degree in the financial field or equivalent combination of education and experience in the financial industry.
5-7 years of progressive financial services experience in a commercial lending environment
