Brandt is currently seeking an individual to fill the position of Accountant for our Brandt Developments division at the companys Head Office in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparation and posting of journal entries, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and statutory reporting.
Preparation/review of monthly construction billings and ad-hoc billings.
Preparation and completion of weekly bank reconciliations and cash flow reporting.
Month end and Year end account reconciliations.
Preparation of sales database and other detailed internal reporting
Responsible for compiling data and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting.
Identify and follow up on discrepancies prior to data entry.
Specific projects and other related duties as required.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2-5 years experience in a similar position.
Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.
Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
Attention to detail in all areas of work.
Proficient communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
Experience with Sage 300 considered an asset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good problem solving skills.
