Description

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre in downtown Regina is seeking a part-time Janitor to join our top-notch Housekeeping team!

The successful candidate will be available to work 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Weekend availability is a requirement for this role.

The Hotel Janitor is responsible for the daily cleaning of all public areas in the hotel. You ensure guests are consistently greeted with a spotless lobby, clean corridors, and immaculate rest rooms.  You are the backbone to ensuring the hotel always maintains an image of overall comfort through exceptional cleanliness!

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Cleaning all  public areas and guest stairwells
- Daily, weekly and monthly job cleaning tasks
- Dusting public areas including furniture
- Cleaning of public restrooms
- Use of industrial floor cleaning machinery
- All other duties as assigned

Preferred Education & Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Flexible and energetic
- Time-management skills and self motivated
- Previous hotel cleaning experience preferred.

Working Conditions:
- Associate will be on feet for majority of shift
- Bending, kneeling, walking, climbing stairs and ladders
- Lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Some outdoor work to assist with keeping hotel entrances clean
