35 hours per week

Quint Development Corporation is a not-for-profit organization which exists to strengthen the social and economic well-being of Saskatoons five core neighbourhoods through a community economic development approach.  Quint is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to fill the following position:

The role of the Administrative Assistant is to provide professional office support to the program staff and management of Quint Development Corporation.

Duties:
Primary contact for all inquiries in person, by phone and/or email. Respond/forward calls as appropriate;
General office support including (but not limited to) mail duties, photocopying, filing, room bookings;
Maintaining Files and Updating file system;
Assist with various aspects of property management - rent collection and deposits;
Assist with the organization of meetings, staff retreats and events.

Qualifications:
Understand issues faced by lower-income families, individuals and neighbourhoods;
Experience working at the community level with community-based organizations;
Understanding of community economic and/or co-operative development;
Minimum Grade 12 with administrative experience and/or administrative diploma preferred.

Skills:
Excellent interpersonal skills and a helpful and friendly disposition;
Strong written, oral communication and computer skills;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Ability to foresee and identify potential duties to be completed;
Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle;
Ability to provide a criminal record check.
