Description

Duties:
Reporting to the Parks, Recreation and Facilities Foreman, the responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
    Arena supervision and maintenance, including monitoring the ice plant and operating the zamboni;
    Maintenance and cleaning  of City owned facilities and equipment, including outdoor spaces and buildings;
    Assisting with the set up of some community events at recreation facilities; and
    Working without direct supervision but within approved policies, procedures and specifications.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be someone who is safety-focused, able to work with minimal supervision, and able to work effectively and professionally with the general public. In addition, the position has the following minimum qualifications:
    Saskatchewan  Class 5 drivers license
    Be medically/physically fit and willing to work under all weather and working conditions including confined spaces
A drivers abstract and a satisfactory Criminal Record Check are required for this position.

Hours:
During the ice season, hours are shift work consisting of 80 hours every two weeks. Normal hours during the remainder of the year are Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. although some flexibility may be required.
